Eid
Eid may be Arabic for "festival" (English pronunciation: /ˈiːd/; Arabic: عيد ‘īd), a Norwegian place name, or an acronym.

Islamic, Arab and Persian festivals
- Eid ul-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘īdu l-fiṭr "Festival of the Fast Breaking"), marks the end of the month of Ramadan
- Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى ‘īdu l-’aḍḥā "Festival of the Sacrifice"), Greater Eid, or Eid-e Qurban , celebrated to commemorate prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son for God
- Eid-e Nowruz (Persian: عید نوروز eyde nowruz), celebrated on Nowruz and marking the first day of spring and the beginning of the Iranian year as well as the Baha'i year
- Eid Mubarak (Persian: عید مبارک eyd mobârak, from the Arabic عید مبارﻙ ‘īd mubārak, lit. "bless you on this festival") or ("Have a good blessed festival"), a greeting used by Muslims during Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
